Ahhhh, so sorry about the lost goslings... I'm in an all out war against rats here. All the rain seems to have pushed them to higher ground - namely my barns - ugh!

same here I think....
I pulled 6 dead youngsters out of the water tough outside this morning...
weve had some wacky weather.
took the last 2 off the hen and put them in the broodr with the others, poor girl is NOT happy and it currently brooding the brooder, shes sat ontop of it wings out fluffed up telling everyone that those are HER babies lol
I feel ba, but I cant loose more to the rodents.

I MIGHT have a home for the 3 adult embdens though *fingers crossed*
have 3 young angora going home Saturday and hopefully the 3 adult angora going home sat too.
just need to sell the last 2 youngsters and ill be happy on that front.
im hoping the money from the other 2 youngsters will pay to set up the auto water system.

I did manage to get the last 4 zucchini planted today so the veggie beds are full
and I managed to get the growout quail cage done so the 12 males we have growing out right no have a lot more room.

I still need to do some maor cleanup in the barn after the shearing, but that's realy the last of the big ones on the list for this week.

my body hates me.
Back is pasaming something wicked...
and as if to say "don't forget me" my right arm is playing up (nerve damage) alternating general numbness with intense pins and needles....
and my left side sciatic nerve is having a tantrum, so my butt cheek and left leg hurt...
and my left shoulder is being a problem child too, thanks to the incoming rains for tomorrow...
and ive had a migrane for the past 3 hours that finally seems to be surcumbing to the powers of Extra strength tylanol...

nothing realy got done today outside of putting up a closet rod in my existing closet which has made my clothing situation much better...but angered both arms even more LOL!

so right now im lay in bed in a position that's about as comfy as im going to get for now...hinkign I need o trade myself in for a newer model

my body still hates me...probably in part due to the rain weve had today and drop in temps...
in good news I found a reclining rocker on one of the online yardsale groups for $10...
that sounds about perfect for my bank account...its not a couch but it IS a recliner and itll work unill I can find the perfect couch...
itll tide me over until I can find he right one (or afford it) and when I do I can always give the recliner away if all im paying is $10...
its a moving sale so she said come by take a look and they might part with other furniture too...im kinda hoping they have a cheap couch/loveseat thatll kinda match it enough to keep me going

didn't get much else done today.
sent home 3 young angora, the 3 adults should be going home tomorrow depending on what the weather does, and I relisted a few other buns...so fingers crossd there.
and I MIGHT have a home for the Embden trio...we'll see.

tomorrow is supposed to be rainy again...going to see if I can alk dad into replacing my ceiling light over my bed with a ceiling fan we have sitting around doing nothing...that would be nice, right now I have a small desk fan kinda jerry rigged to my headboard to increase airflow as its stuffy...the little ac unit I have just isn't able to keep up (not big enough for the room) so im hoping thisll help. (eventually i want a 2nd one for the oher side of the room too.)

and im going to do some more room figuring and sorting...got some more boxes to finnish sorting through, junk to move and things to find real homes (storage space) for. (and of course, make room for my new chair...which im realy hoping helps my back.)

so yeah...keeping busy.

I did, its very comfy, a smaller old "ladies" recliner, was a little beaten but I found a slipcover a the christmass tree shop for $17, fits nicely looks pretty good and for under $30 for a "new" recliner including the cover im happy lol
she had a oversized old style chais lounge too that shes asking $20 for so im going to go pick that up tomorrow (was supposed to be last night but crazy rain)
I picked up a loveseat pet throw at christmass tree shop for $12, im hoping itll fit well enough (with sme safety pins in back) to keep it protected since its likely the dogs will use that one the most lol.

its kinda coming together...did some moving of stuff yesterday, got some more to do today, got to get the old falling apart set OUT of my room tonight once dad gets home so I can finnish tidying and have room for the chaisetomorrow when we go get it...
I moved my birdcages so now have an open spot that I think im going to try and find either a bookcase for or put my chest that I got there when ive finished repainting that...if I do that im thinking of either making a chiarpad to go ontop or turning it into the cat feeding station (which is currently my craft desk as its the only place the dogs cant reach)
im planning on gating off the "bedroom" area anyway so the cat food would be on one side of the gate, the dogs, the other.

and ive got a coffee table to refinish that has storage in it thatll go infront of the chaise. and then I can realy work on finishing the craft area...I want to do something with the shelving system that is currently in place to ake it a little less messy looking...
mabe paint the shelves white or hang something infront of them or something...

my body hates me right now with the crazy weather, but im powering through as best possible.

When I get my tack shed done, I want to find a small, used recliner for in there. Don't want to spend the money on a new one.

used is def the way to go...though seems around here at least some people want as much for their used junk as a store wants for it new...
but you can def find some great deals if your not in a rush

life likes to toss ups and downs...
keira ate my boots...5 mins it took her to eat 1/2 of a leather boot...WTF, I almost lost it...
dads going to lend me some money o buy another pair when the sales kick in again...but until then...the good news is despite being half eaten...they are still usable as general go chore boots...*shakes head*
good job I love her.

the good news though is the room is slowly coming together...

in other news, dads home for the next 2 weeks, gallbladder had to come out...
I have a new screen door *YAY* (next step a new main door so I can get a little more light in the room)
and im still alive...
