the pups are doing ok with soupy wet food but today i thought id try and experiement...
i ground up some dry food and gave it just enough water to moisten...
guess which they prefer...yup, puppy crumbles...most pups will go for the wet food mush over kibble crumbs because wet food is a little more concentrated...slightly stronger smell and generlaly considered a "treat" but these babies prefer the ground dry...lol.

in other news, having an off day....
i think its just with my birthday comming on weds and christmas 2 weeks away...this years going to be a little tougher i think...

planning on starting dozer in puppy classes in a few weeks, and realy want to make strides around here...need a truck or van or seomthing so in thinking in anuary thats going to be the goal, pay off the credit card then put myself in more debt to try and buy a SUPER cheap van or small truck for hauling...
and i need to get serious about setting up for the chickens, rabbits and goats...spring will be here before i know it...(i know were not even out of fall yet but still lol)

im in a bit of a rutt and when i start falling into a little hole i plan to keep my mind off things lol

today i did absolutly nothing other than snuggle with the dogs and take them out to go potty and laze around watching tv.
i feel so lazy and blah and yet so good about it lol.

now ive got lasagne in the toaster oven and im watching the big bang theory and scouring craiglist for free stuff lol.
and occasionally glancing over to see my little fishes swimming about happily in the tank...as much as it sucks that i lost the 6 danios to the filtration (i can only assume thats where they ended up lol, and i did find 2 deads in there) the dead matter forced the cycle to go faster than live fish would and the tank is doing quite well today, only lost 1 of the 12 neons i put in...i found the 1 loss and hes in the freezer, ive got a 14 day warentee and on day 13 ill take any losses ive found and take them back for replacment/refund.
ill replace them if possible because a school of a dozen neons looks awesome...
if i can keep the neons alive i know the tanks doing well, they tend to be very tender little fish.

i think ive also finally decided exactly where the rabbit pens are going to go...i want 4 pens so i can rotate through and seperate the babies for grow outs. i think im just going to do pure bred standard rexes as my meaties...it would take generations to get a consistent rex coat on a NZ or Cali x rex...and standard rex are good meaties on their own so thats the plan.
i mean why mess with it if the standard rex would give me everything i need even if they grow a little bit slower.

im wondering if i can salvage the 2 existing sheds to use as chicken coops too...

I only got the two standards that were supposed to be Mini Rexes from DD19. I have too many male rabbits now :/ I have 6 bucks and 4 does. Ohhhh yeah, my hard headed bunch is about to taste bunny I had to get rid of the EE roo the other day. My uncle needed him back because something got his roo. He's gonna give me some blue eggs to hatch out this Spring though Oh and that calico looking bunny that was hopping around the yard...we caught HIM! It's a MALE! So we have a calico male and female now Weird huh? I need to slaughter some birds and rabbits soon. Wanna help?

lol, when i start thinking about all the stuff i want to do vs all the things i NEED to do to get to that point my stomach flips a little lol...ive got soooo far to go.

well today pups, ruby and dozer got day 3 of dewormer...will be repeating for all in 2 weeks for the trio and ruby, and then one more at 8 weeks for the trio.

Dozer also got his second set of shots today, so hes officially ready to start puppy classes. ive got some thigns i HAVE to get sorted this month (lisence reg and insurance on the car since im still running on CT and im still on dads insurance...and its not cheap...) the lisence isnt a big deal, neither is reg/new plates...but the insurance...that part im not looking forward to lol.
im thinking january will have to be class month though...i definatly want to do puppy class with him though, and eventually move on to the more advanced classes.
hes going to be such a big strong dog (and hes already strong willed and a little defiant) that i dont want to take chances with not only his training but socilization too.

tomorrow i have to go get my new lisence...
and ill do a walmart run while there...
need packing tape so i can send off momma and bizzies christmas gifts
could do with cat food and a new harness for Dozer too...his BARELY closed on friday lol.

today resulted inthe least painfull trip to the DMV ever...

when to get my TN lisence (yup its official lol)
walked in, got everything done and walked out with my STILL WARM lisence in less than 15 mins! WOOT!

my uncle also sent me some money for christmas ($10), so i used it to buy myself some more fish for my tank.

so right now my tank includes
11 neon tetra (it was 12 but 1 died on day 1, hell be relaced as long as the rest do well)
2 small veil angel fish (1 Gold marble, 1 gold)
6 brilliant rasbora

end of december i plan to add
6 cherry barbs
2 more small veil angels (hoping to find a couple of nice Koi

and then in mid january
6 corydora

once i start seeing algeal growth ill add 1/2 a dozen Ottos too, which while would officially slightly overstock the tank, i think my filtration and good water changes should handle it no problem.
i wish my camera took good pics of the tank, its looking reay nice especially with the flash of the brilliants and the glow of the neons...

hit up walmart too, they didnt have any harnesses for dozer so im going to have to check the selmer walmart when i go to get my registration sorted to transfer to TN plates on my car...

otherwise nothign special...porkchop for dinner i think, not yet sure what im having it with though...

You have to go to two separate places in TN for plates & drivers license? Huh. I don't remember doing that, but it has been at least a hundred years since I lived there

Here, it is all in one building, which is so nice. A license from your new state does make you feel more 'official' , doesn't it?!
