well it was a longer drive than google maps seemed to think, but i got out there and got back without hitting too much crzy weather. hit a patch as i was comming home through savanna but nothing realy sticking, and got home just before a pretty big band blew through here.
but im home, safe with 6 new additions
only 2 of those are bunnies, 4 of them are corydora fish for my tank which petscove were selling at $2 a peice so i coudlnt pass them up. (shes going to be special ordering some koi veil angels for me

)
trip to get bunnies was long but uneventfull, got there depiste tom tom getting a tad conused at a "none existent" adress lol.
talked a little, met the girls, she aparently got injured so has decided to get out of the larger breeds (anyone in TN/AL looking for some chins, shes got a pretty (HUGE) pair shes looking to get rid of, the females gotta weigh about 16lbs!)
these girsl arnt realy "show quality"
the opals eyes are too dark, and the castor...well im not even realy sure if shes a true castor...
but they are a good size, poops looked good (though alot more on the floor than id like to see in a set up like she had...) both are a little rust stained on the butts due to being on old wire floors, and there both going through a molt right nwo so a little dishevled...however, no signs of mites, coats look and feed good, poops normal, feet teeth eyes and ears look good and while obviously not used to alot of human interaction, there easily handled.
so home we came.
stopped at petscove in savannah o the way home and picked up the corydora...told her if she gets more of these guys in at that price ill take 2 more when i come to get the 3 angels)
got home, got bluebell (origionally mysti) and Acorn (origionally wendy) settled into their new houses...which are about twice hat thier used to. both immediatly started nuzzling into the hay in the houses...water,food and a couple of quickpics and now ive left them to get settled in, theyll be a little freeked out for the next few days i think.
anywho...without further ado.
(cant realy see the colors well but hey least i got some lol)
Bluebell:
shes got the best personality of the pair and i think is going to be a REALY sweet girl.
shes also got a realy nice blanaced and symetrical blanket.
her last litter toa broken black gave white, broken opal and broken blue.
Acorn:
Acorn is a broken castor, but as you can see in the second pick shes got some none agouti patches on the back of her neck...so im thinking shes not quite a castor but not quite a tricolor?!
shes a little lighter on the markings, but is beautfully marked on the face and is balanced
her last litter, to the same broken black buck gave whites, broken blacks, broken castor and a solid black.
so cindi...hows about next week (after the homestudy stuff) i bring 2 bunnies over for a date with your boy

speaking of, did your rex girl rebreed/kindle yet?
I cant wait to see what colors you get out of her
once i get my own bucks im thinking Solid or broken blues or opals will be my best bet for getting broken opals (i wanted to focus on broken blues, blacks, lilacs or opals...so i guess opal it is and the castor doe should throw opals if bred to a blue or opal (since opal is the dilute of castor), but i would love to mabe do a red buck for her too to brighten the castor coloration...
a red buck on the opal doe could result in some lynx too, so its a possibility, but i could do more apropirate breeding with blues i think.
just whent out with the dogs and both girls seem to be comfortably exploring their new housing
Acorn was born nov of 2010
ans Bluebell October of 2010
