This, from the dairy state? I know, I know, they are really the badger state, but still. Kinda scary.

there has to be way more to these comments
I would like to see what this 'case' is about?? just not enough info to base an opinion for me from what I read.

but I sure agree, way too many political hands in how we live day to day.

Its straight forward. The dairies are being prosecuted for running cow shares. All legal, until the Dairy Board said no more.
Two farmers said no thanks and continued.
The judges comments are the end result.

There was another case either earlier this year or late last year where a judge stated people do not have a right to eat the food they want. Scary stuff!!

I'm picturing our founding fathers in Heaven, wishing they had written a longer Bill of Rights. They just did not foresee how badly things could get muddled up.

That may be, but for ANY judge to say that citizens do not have the right to eat what they want? Come on, that's a ridiculous and scary statement.

Ever the skeptic
Click on the link in the article. And it was actually the dep. of Ag that had the problem, not the dairy board. sorry.
There are so many ongoing cases with raw milk that I get mixed up sometimes.
I try to keep tabs on all of them due to my involvement with our local farms, and its very overwhelming.

And one thing leads to another, which leads to another, which leads to another.... so one day the guberment will tell you what you are ALLOWED to grow in your own garden. Raw milk is just the tip of the ice burg.
