Now that the democrats have started public impeachment trials. How do you think this will end? This is perhaps the biggest political thing to manifest in my lifetime.

Please be polite and respectful of others in your responses.

I remember Nixon's impeachment proceedings. The democrats seem absolutely determined to remove Trump from office, and I don't think they will stop until they do.

My opinion is that is all a bunch of noise by a bunch of sore losers who know they can’t win the election.

I am fed up with these bunch of yahoos who look down on regular folks and despise us. They couldn’t self destruct any better even if they poured gasoline over themselves and set themselves on fire. Watching them make utter fools of themselves is rather entertaining. Knowing that all their bogus investigations have cost the taxpayers millions upon millions is disgusting.

Agreed. I realize this was an off-cycle election year, but of the 6 elected positions on the local ballot, only 1 had more candidates than slots (4 candidates for 3 school board slots), the rest were unopposed. A lot of good people who could run, win, and do a great job, don't because they don't need the circus.

and in related news.....
A graduate student at the University of California-Berkeley took to twitter on Wednesday to express his disdain for rural Americans and those who aren’t “pro-city.”

It seems to me the country is nearing a tipping point (50/50 left/right)... and I'm afraid I don't see a positive result, no matter which way it ends (impeachment or no impeachment). Either way it's just going to deepen the wound, which makes healing longer/harder.

I personally believe the democrats should have just left the people decide at the polls come November. That's how we solve issues and invoke change in the USA. It's supposed to be a government by the people, for the people. But the horse was let out of the barn per say today, with the beginning of public hearings. So it's so late to turn back now. How this ends worries me deeply. How we got to this point worries me even more. If your inclined, please pray for our country. Our country needs lots of prayer right now.

I do not watch TV so am only vaguely aware of what's going on: My opinion: Dems are out to crucify any one in office or running for office who has a lick of sense, moral character, and is not a socialist. While Trump occasionally speaks before thinking, he is a breath of fresh air after the Obama years.

I read that... There will always be people who think they are "all that". After I read the article I laughed and said boy, the University of California-Berkeley will graduate anyone these days as long as they get their Benjamin's. That guy obviously hasn't leaned much of anything useful from the University of California-Berkeley. My wife also mentioned it to me over dinner. She said sending kids off to college today is a big waste of money to pay for brain washing.

@CrealCritter What we are seeing as our country continues to fall away from the great nation our founding fathers intended is the playing out of Bible prophecy. Yes, we should be praying for our country. Can our country be turned around? Only by a massive movement of God's people.

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This verse is FOR THE BELIEVER. God calls HIS people to repentance, and prayer. Are we, as individuals fulfilling the IF of this conditional statement? I know that I fall short moment by moment, and day by day.

But instead we the people paid for therapy dogs to visit stressed Congressional staffers at impeachment hearings today. They should have been on their knees praying but nope send in the therapy dogs (toys in the attic o_O).
