I hope it does keep up - you deserve your own place!!
Thanks! :) I'm feeling very optimistic after seeing this today. The lovely thing here (for buyers) is that you are expected to out in an offer and it's usually less than the asking price. So if a place doesn't sell quick, or is in a not-desireable area, you can get some crazy bargains.

What is that 20,000 in US $$? LOL

All of those stone houses are just not seen here. As always, any repairs on these "non-desirable" areas there are a huge consideration, I would think. It's hard to relate there to here, having never been there but, it seems not a Home Depot on every corner. :)

They're very interesting to see. Inside? are there pics on these sites? It's fascinating. I hope you reach your goal really soon.

It fluctuates all the time, but right now €1 = $1.18.

Every village have at least one well stocked hardware store and getting people to help with repairs and renovations is easy. Cost-wise it's not too bad, depending on how fancy you want to go.

If you click into each listing you can look at pics of the properties. Sometimes just outside and around, some have inside pics as well.

I would, but I don't know how that works with -passports, work visa(?), required employment (?)...all of those details. Some places requires a person to show they have so much $$ to their names.
Much of the properties here are foreign owned. I don't think they have many requirements.
