Quail_Antwerp: Words from the Barnyard...

We have TWO puppies! They are black with white and brown markings, and both girls...First one was born at 4:55 pm and she just had the second one at 5:24 pm...she isn't done yet, but we're up to TWO!!

I didn't think she was ever going to go, and frankly, was starting to get mildly worried because her water had broke about 3 hours ago and the vet said they usually deliver within an hour of their water breaking...but I kept putting her on her leash and walking her around the yard to help progress her labor...far better than running her into the vet for a shot to speed up the labor, IMO.

I'm expecting her to have 2 more, at the very least...if not more...we'll see!

I'll have pics for ya'll when she's done!
 
Puppy number 3 just arrived, another girl :rolleyes: This one is red where the others are black and has black where the others are white/tan and has white feet. So cute!!
 
Puppy five just arrived, another little brown one with black and white markings and he's the first boy!!! We're happy she had at least ONE boy!!

The fourth puppy was another black with tan and white markings and a girl...sigh...

I thought she was done after 4, but an hour later she surprised us with number 5!!!! I think, but am not sure, she is done now, but I was wrong after the 4th one....we'll know for sure over the next hour I guess! :D

Pictures tomorrow ya'll. I'm not going to bother her tonight. :)
 
OK, I won't say again she is done until tomorrow......pup number 6 just arrived!!!!!!!!! :th another little girl and she's black!
 
:weee so happy ! was worried there... cant wait to see pics tomorrow..
