Hubby does not want my back on BCP. So what else is there?

You need to get a book that will help you to figure out your natural rythm cycles. You need to learn how to tell when you are ovualting as that is the time you get pregnant.

Use a diaphragm with a spermacide jelly most of the month then when ovulating either obstain or use the diaphram with jelly and the condem together

remember, messing around can get you pregnant. sperm can travel.

Diaphragms can be put in hours before anticipated sex and can stay in overnight if you fall asleep

No way, not regular enough. Well, unless you count the 3 ankle biters who won't give us the opportunity to need BC I can tell when I ovulate, but that's not good enough.
We don't want any more children, but aren't willing to go the surgical route either.

Is a diaphragm messy? I had a female gyno warn me off of them because her personal experience was that they were pretty annoying. My cycle is nowhere near regular; it wasn't before I started the pill, altho I was a teenager at that point, and it isn't now that I'm off (and I'm way past teenager-hood. ) DH & I have discussed the surgical route, but he is too much of a chicken to do it, even tho it would be MUCH easier for him to get snipped than me. We're using condoms now, which he doesn't care for, but which don't bother me. I'm hoping that he gets so tired of using them that he gets some...(oh, that would be too bad of a pun!!! ) and gets a vasectomy.
