Lol! I have hand issues so sewing by hand is not happening. Not arthritis or anything but my hands cramp up really quickly. Even hand milking my Nigerian kills them.

Baymule, I was told it's called Cathedral Windows. I learned this pattern and got stuck on it. It's easy enough for me to hand sew and I can get very creative with it.

Quilting is one of those things I never had time to learn, but I truly admire those who have accomplished the art. Beautiful quilts, Sumi!

Twinnie quilts! She's completed one blanket, is working on a "puffy" quilt right now and we're co-oping another quilt. Once we're caught up with those two we'll be making a quilt that we're calling the big Jim in honour of our grandfather as well (it's going to made from his clothing)
You have a lot of patience to do it by hand :thwe use the sewing machine as much as humanly possible!

I learned to quilt in 4th grade and quilted up till I was in high school. I'd love to pick it up again and I have tried but finding time right now is the problem.
