Raider is only eight, turning nine. His face turned white at age three. People always give a pout when they see his droopy face because they think he is old, but he has been like that since a young dog. My older dog Anika is turning eleven and looks younger, as does my rhodesian ridgeback Dee Dee who is just two months younger than Raider. Bandit is the amazing one, she looks seven and must be eleven, and is also the lymphoma survivor, so I never woulda thunkit.

Yes, Thunder was a looker, wasn't he?

I was talking with my vet the other day because we noticed Rio has white coming in on his muzzle and he is 3!!! Gotta get him some hair color! lol

That is what Trouble said, Raider is his dog. He has wanted to dye Raider's face and shave him for years. We shaved him once when he was matted and that is Trouble's dream way of dealing with a golden retriever coat. I told him we can't turn him into a lab.

Unfortunately he looked ridiculous that way....and cost a small fortune. I bought a Furminator instead. After Raider is "furminated" you should see how much hair we get!

yay! love all the dog-wog-ee-oohs (as we say here)

"Furminator" is still one of my favorite words. we're still working on brushing Kai out - a little more each day. she's really sleek and leggy now - we thinks she's growing again.

:-)

Smoke looks like our barncat, Shine.
