Mmmmm.......had the most yummy breakfast.
Home made bread, potatoes I dug from the garden this morning and I even cooked an egg warm from the coop with it, mostly for effect because I can only eat half an egg or get else I get dizzy, but the dog appreciated the other half, and it sure was fun. I served it with some goat milk fresh from Ginger and felt very SS and wholesome this AM. The ingredients for the bread were not made here but I used to always use store bread, and those home grown potatoes are AWESOME. What a gourmet treat. I knocked over one of the tire planters this morning and found about 8 good sized taters from the two plants. I thought that wasn't bad! I plan to expand the potatoes farm next year. Those are one of the few things that grow great here besides slugs, ferns and blackberries. Oh, and Alder trees.
Doctor's office just sent me an e-mail that my insurance may need to pre-approve me....so it could get postponed. I hope not now that I'm getting myself psyched up for it and my family prepped. We will see.

Sigh. We had to cancel my surgery because of an insurance wrinkle. One I don't think we can unwrinkle......
Oh well, it was a nice thought. My doctor is gnashing his teeth about my benefits, but we can do nada to change things.
:/ I wasn't exactly looking forward to it, but I was looking forward to having it behind me....now I don't even know if I will end up having it. Sorry to bother everyone about this, next time I'll wait to make announcements on this kind of stuff until my things are more set in stone.
