Check that brake controller and all the wiring with it, SPECIALLY the wire going to the brake light switch!!!

Actually you might wanna take good close look at the switch as well...........I am thinking Ford had a real problem with those.....as in setting the trucks on fire....

EDIT AGAIN.......

My honda went and has not come back!!! :hit

So what can you do with a 2000 Honda tranny?? 79, 000 miles. It's just not fair!!!
Transmission went bad? Automatic? Replace it with a known good used one, but make sure that whoever does the repair, flushes the transmission cooler out really well. Junk from the bad transmission will be in that cooler, and will be pumped into the new/used transmission to destroy it.

Black Bird I must be twice your age but I have no idea what your talking about!

Thanks Skr8pn, I'll make note of that.

He means what a man looks like wearing your frillies, not quite a eunuch but a good start.

Yes, with added appendages.

Funny, you're the one in South Cali and I'm the one up here in the Northern woods. I think our perceptions of 'tranny' have been switched.

Unfortunately I've never been given the opportunity to learn anything about vehicles so I'm worthless amongst all this transmission talk, so I'll be on my way. :hide
