Oh, she is pretty, darlin'! Glad to hear that Ellie has found a new home and won't destroy yours anymore....I know you don't need the added stress.

RIP - Fitz, 1996-2010

We have been expecting this for about 6 months. He was steadily going downhill and his passing, as if often the way with older pets, is actually a blessing. We will miss him, but won't miss seeing him struggle to get through each day.

Thanks, everybody. After nearly 15 years of having him around, it's awfully strange not to see him snoozing in the sun or hoping up beside me for a nap but his last few days were really pretty bad so I'm glad for him that it's over. When I saw how bad he was this morning I was going to take him to the vet but by the time the clinic opened, it was clear we wouldn't even make it there.

:hugs Its so hard to lose a furry friend. He was a beauty! Im glad he was able to pass at home tho. Seems to me it would be MUCH less stressfull on all parties involved. RIP Fitz.
