Wow, I never woulda thunk. I hardly ever buy shredded because it is so much more expensive per pound. But I honestly thought that they were both the same.

Check out yogurt and any of the "light" mayo, etc. Full of artificial ingredients and quite a few things have the evil high fructose corn syrup

I too have been watching the labels for a couple of years now, at one point we were going as far as following the Feingold diet for my son, now I am just cautious. A magazine that is new this year has had some really great "clean eating ideas in it" My Mom got me a subscription as a gift. http://www.cleaneatingmag.com/minisite/ce_index.htm

Daisy does not have all the "junk" in their cottage cheese & sour cream. but they are higher priced, so they get anyway don't they?:th
