From what I have read, the Amish are peaceful people. Im sure they wouldnt just stand around while their food supply and women are stolen though.

Thats too funny! When we had the "snowmageddon" here this weekend, I kept asking "do you think the power is going to go out"? I had the bathtub filled and my oil lamps on standby!

I looked up the author on Barnes & Noble. Looks like he's also written a lot of non-fiction. This particular book looks to be out of print, as there was a note saying only used copies are available now (so you might have a collector's item on your hands!).
