Squeezo!

It IS fun, although it makes me think of squeezing all that with just my bare hands :)

I LOVE it for applesauce and jam, but really hate that I only use it for like 2 weeks every fall... I want to use it MORE!!!!

Plus isn't "Squeezo" just an awful lot of fun to SAY?

:P

Yes. It sounds like it could be an old exercise from the late 50's or early 60's. :gig
Somehow, now that you've got me thinking about it :P, it makes me think of some sort of Prohibition-era homebrew liquor.

I know this thread is old, but I'm searching for more recipes that I can use with my squeezo. I only have the basic screen and was told I need to buy the berry screen to make grape juice? Anyone have any recipes or differenty uses and does anyone know if this is true about having to buy the berry screen to use it for grapes?? Thanks everyone, I love this place.

Why don't you just give it a try with the screen you have. If you like the result then you have saved yourself having to buy the other screen. If seeds and skin get through then maybe another screen would be useful. I think that running the grapes through the screen you have will get rid of most of what you don't want, and you can filter the juice through a jelly cloth or piece of muslin.

Thanks good advice. I'll give it a try. I just wondered if anyone had that experience. :)

I don't have a squeezo...i agree the name does sound catchie...
but i think the concept is comparable to the kitchen aid juicer attachment..i have...
it spews out the seeds and pulp out the end...almost like a snake...
but dosent have a screen like you say...
...I do love handy gadgets..
