Hi-all! New chatter here, would love to join in. I am home all by myself all day long until the rest of the family returns. Gets awful lonely, my cat and dog will appreciate the break-but the chickens MIGHT get jealous :)
Family gone to school/work or gone on vacation?

Today's tentative plan for my tasks:
1. Coffee and bacon for me
2. Blueberry waffles made for the wife
3. Get apples
4. Chili, pepper soup, and chicken taco soup canned.
5. 10lbs of meat started marinating for jerky
6. Apple butter cooking overnight

We shall see how this goes. She says she is going to try to help.

I am in full project management mode this morning.

Sounds like a busy day. I will be right there with you. Running oldest DD to all day musical rehearsal soon, cook breakfast for DH and little DD. Then it is wrapping up the chicken run, putting to bed the strawberries, closing down 2 garden beds and planting garlic in 2 more, splitting wood, and I have 10 lbs of tomatoes to make into spaghetti sauce and can.

Coffee and a little reading first.

Enjoy the day everyone!

That lasted long.. lol. Rain overnight, still raining. The wife is feeling it bad. Joints are stiff and sore. Plan Recalibration in process.

All three cats decided I could not use the bathroom alone because their food bowls were empty. Yes, they got a little tuna, too.

Coffee and bacon. Check....
