I use rubber bowls in winter because they are easy to fill, and if frozen I just flip them over and stomp it out.

I have 5 gallon buckets with self filling drinking cups during the rest of the year. I still give the large fowl a bow of water because some like to stand in it in summer, especially the elderly hens.

It is. Ive had to get violent sometimes. Hold on to the fence and jump up and down on one.

I am really hoping for some sun today, I want the run to dry out a bit

Found out why the broody coop roof was leaking. Some of the knots had fallen out of the roof slats for one. Of course I was on a chair screwing feed bags over the top when I noticed. Did stop the leaking.

Getting it ready for Molly and her companion to go out later this week. I'm very happy with how Molly is recovering. They will stay out there for the next month or so.
