Meyer Hatchery is now running huge deals on pullets. Killing me not having the option right now. Lol.

It scares me to think of traveling chicks all alone. There is a farm in Michigan that you can go and pick.sounds better better for me.

You could totally make blue frizzle Easter Eggers with that rooster and just about any hen!

The blue frizzle roo is the same color as my lavender orps. Are the color names different between breeds?

I have a tiny 10month old bantam Cubalaya/Sebright mix sitting on 4 eggs. Hatch should be between the 6th and the 8th of June. Can I change her next box now? She has been sitting on a double and want her on a single wide that is lower and effort the peeps. Am I too late to change them?

You guys should get some!!!
I'll really, really, enjoy having them, fly them, and hopefully do a couple wedding releases a summer (Extra feed money). I hope I can get them to earn their keep.
People pay $50+ a bird to release at weddings, funerals, graduations and the like!

Wedding releases would be so cool! I’m amazed at how smart they are!

I read what you said about meat birds too. That’s really smart! What breeds do you recommend for that?

I haven't. I personally think it's pretty cruel to kill something so young.
But I would like to try adult pigeon or dove!
