Thanks! They're very easy to make, just remember to use a big denim needle on your machine or you and your machine won't be very happy! :lol:

I've not heard of a denim needle for my old Elna. I use the Schmitz Universal needles, 70, 80 and 90. I'll have to look up what type of needle you've mentioned.

I just found an old sweater that is 70% wool and the rest is artificial can I still use it to make a purse for my daughter? and how hot does it have to be to "felt" it so I can sew it?
