FB's baking today

Dinner rolls I believe there is an egg white wash on these. Because tank gets a egg on his food when she makes them.

Sourdough blueberry muffins. She told me she has to disregard some when she feeds the sourdough starter. But there are lots of recipes to use the disregard. All I know is they are delicious. Done but not brown on top like most muffins are. Probably the result of using sourdough instead of flour, IDK...

Today was my first time using a bread machine in almost 20 years. My old one had issues.

This one seems to work quite well.

I forgot to add any salt. Was just going to reduce it and forgot it. Top was deformed. It tastes pretty good though. Hubby wants more.

I like the smell of rising dough.

i like the taste of it. the alcohol gives it a sharpness and i like goopy and chewy. edible gum.

unbleached flour, cracked wheat, yeast, salt, and a little sugar in the warm water to get the yeast going. if you want the cracked wheat to be softer in the bread you can pre-soak it in some warm water for a half hour or so.

How good would it be to be able to buy authentic ancient wheat!?
