I made the buns a cold weather mash today. I ground up sunflower seeds, cracked corn into a powderish like substance. I ground it because they wont eat it whole. They seemed to like it.

Mine love sunflower seeds whole! That is interesting.

Bet yours loved a nice warm-up! I should try that on especially cold days.

SD I cannot figure out why mine wont eat them whole so I ground them up and they went to town.

The breeder started mine on the BOSS so I can't take credit. They RUN over when I bring some out though and they are still shy around me. Perhaps now that yours have tried it they will go for whole ones.

BOSS is the one thing around here every animal eats, chickens, goats, ducks and rabbits. I certainly want to be growing some next year. I'd actually like to plant a sunflower forest if I can find enough space.
