it has been raining and mixed with snow a little all day, but nothing stuck so the roads were good for Mom.
tomorrow will be a do nothing planned kind of day and take each moment as it comes and enjoy not being scheduled very much at all. even if someone tries to put things on my list i'm going to let them slide off my back like water off a duck. i can come back Friday and check on what floats... sinkers are stinkers and all that rot...

it has been a delight already. 
Tuesday, right before i had to run out for an errand i managed to dump a boxtop of beans and didn't have time to track them all down but at least got the worst of the mess picked up so last night i tried to get them all picked up, but a few are way under the futon in the dust so i won't get those rescued until i dust the floor again.
it is very exciting (if you can't detect sarcasm that was some) and i look forwards to it (haha, a bit more as i hate dusting with a passion) and will be getting back to it when i get all the beans shelled and mostly sorted. today i hope to get some of that done but won't finish and there is no plan at all when i may start back up and/or for how long. whatever happens is up to the fates and whims of a protoplasmic being who really enjoys days off when he can get them.

i will definitely have snow to shovel tomorrow (well today but i've not been to sleep yet so i call it tomorrow).
also the forecast for next week includes some nights down into the single digits. brrr! quite an abrupt change in the weather...

It's been a couple very cold days/nights here and early temps for area. Today is warming! Thankful for that. There's new parts that need to be put on truck & tractor. Truck is worn/maintenance stuff. But tractor, I'm praying these solve the not useable issues. I'm home and desperately need to use it for overdue work here....bushhog & fence replacements.
Chomping at the bit, so to speak. Weather is gonna get cold on a daily basis and I hate cold! Need to be doing things since 2 months ago. Parts were hard to find at a "reasonable" price! Yeah, they'll throw a $300 price on a $50 part in a heartbeat.

there's more snow out there than i thought there would be and it is also heavier than i thought it was but it is all ok. i'm about halfway done shovelling and taking a break for a few more minutes and then getting back out to finish it up because the forecast has winds up to 33mph and i don't want to be out there in that.
at the moment the sunshine is peeking through and what i already have cleared is melting off so there won't be any ice - that is what i worry about the most is anyone who might visit having any ice on the driveway to slip on...
plus we're also expecting a package delivery (not today) so i also want to avoid any problems with that too - we've already had an issue with this order because someone at the post office couldn't figure out that the two names on the line could have actually been turned around or something...
