Eat one of my little babies before it is luscious red?

NEVER! :th

Heeheheheehee :lau

Just saw sprouts of dent corn for the chickens. Here in rain soaked TN I finally got green, lima and wax beans in. Sunday I hoed up and planted the 50 sweet potato slips I ordered. Got several heads of cabbage ready and waiting to see which are brocolli or collards since I lost the labels. Tomatoes are in and peppers are next. Such a late start and too muddy again today.

My biggest harvetst yet! :woot

Two cukes, 3 little zukes, 1 yellow squash and a few green beans (keep in mind that my garden is all pots.).

Update! :)

5/26- Sprinkled some mesculin mix into the weed garden by the strawberries. I figure since they will only be there for 30 days, why not?

And some pictures ;)

French Breakfast! Almost ready (this was taken a few days ago, and I am contemplating going out and pulling a few. Although I don't have any immediate plans for them.)

Bok Choy! :) Clearly my "sprinkling" action seemed like a half hearted throw here...

Aruuugula! :) Yum!

Looking good you two.

I am a failure at weighing my stuff.

I have however managed to blanch and freeze the remaining carrots in my first planting. I cooked and peeled another 8 beets last night. We are still eating lettuce from the garden daily.

The day before yesterday I decided to plant a new area, With the turkeys in my orchard I can't get my pumpkins and squash out there. They keep eating it.

So I raked back the mulch that surrounds my driveway hillside. The mulch actually created a berm and I planted right above it. Kinda hard to explain but living and planting on a hill is always a challenge. I will take a pic as soon as it gets going.

Has anyone ever grown the Uncle Mark Bagby tomatoes?? I have two plants in. They have the largest flowers ever. Now I am just waiting to see what the tomato does.

Oh, I am also on my second gallon ziplock of green and was beans.

yum!!

Nice.....still not a lot going on here in NE Ohio yet....:somad

Trying to get more snow peas, alderman climbing peas, and fennel to start. I'm gonna have to find a better source of sunlight me thinks. Winter here sucks, the sun is at such an extreme angle, you hardly get any light. However, my kitchen windowsill (exterior) and the back yard in general appears to be frost free.

The storms Wednesday's night did a major number on the plants I planted in the garden last weekend. I don't think they are going to survive between the beat down they took and the swamp garden. I may have to concede from the challenge. :P
