The Pantry is bulging!

Well after trying to get pantry built for about a year now, we have finally gotten one built! He is coming back to finish it tomorrow! It is an 8 by 10 with shelving all around with one foot deep shelves (not quite how we wanted it but nonetheless we are very satisfied). We got all of this year's and last year's canned fruit and vegetables up and had over 350 jars of stuff! I about fainted, I didn't know we had that much until we organized it! We still have to stock our Meals in a Jar, Dry Goods, Canned Meat, and few other things! Plus still quite a bit of vegetable canning to do plus apples!

I will have pictures tomorrow!

Thats great. I just started canning in March and hubby counted 190 jars last night. Mostly chicken and beef, had to make room in the freezer for the pig.

Yeah I'll pictures tomorrow! Mom and I stocked, she washed jars off and I placed them. Then Sis took the rings off, a well oiled machine!

Wish we had a pantry all in one place, ours is spread around the house wherever we can fit it--closets, the cupboards in the bottom of my new kitchen hutch, and the bumped out corner in our basement guest bedroom.

Moolie, we have been trying to get this built for a year, and we had 3 different LARGE stashes of stuff. I didn't know we had so much canned stuff until it was all together. Its great though!
