Anyone here remember this expression? And know what it meant? It popped into my head recently, and gave me a chuckle for some reason....

Yes, I've read it. I believe rabbits used to be injected with the urine of women, if the woman was pregnant the rabbit died.

I have read that in ancient times urine was drunk and smelled by physicians and they could tell if a woman was pregnant.

I'm not sure which method I like less. Blech.
