Thanks. I wanted something that they could hang inside of or go out to cool off. I also didn't want to raise anyone in the house, for obvious reasons. (Well obvious to me anyhow, some of you don't mind the cheeping...plus I have a new dog etc.) So far they have been very easy keepers. Once in a while one goes behind the brooder and "gets lost". They find their way and all is good again.

The little guy that fell in his water dish (and was probably trampled a bit by the others) died the next day. I think he aspirated and got pneumonia.

Other than that, these guys are very easy to keep. They are outside (as you can see in the pictures) so the cheeping doesn't bug me. They seem content, so I'm not sad that they didn't get a real mother.
