    Beautiful! And the veneers look to be in good shape still. I don't know where else they might be available, but I know you can get most of the parts- like belts and such- from Lehman's.

    I have one also, and I remember using it to sew up a canvas pavilion for the SCA... I'll tell ya, you can work up quite a sweat working those long seams, lol!

    For it's age the gold leafing is still in pretty good shape. They don't make stuff like this anymore, I mean it's actually steel and not plastic.

    I agree it is pretty cool... Its like a work of art. I'm curious how old it is? It even has old stuff in the drawers.

    Oh wow! My mom had one of those manual sewing machines years ago, I loved it. It belonged to my gran before. I occasionally see ones like yours in antique shops, they really are something special :)
