Beautiful! And the veneers look to be in good shape still. I don't know where else they might be available, but I know you can get most of the parts- like belts and such- from Lehman's.
I have one also, and I remember using it to sew up a canvas pavilion for the SCA... I'll tell ya, you can work up quite a sweat working those long seams, lol!
Ok durr I'm a guy ok. I had it turned around backwards. I got to looking at it and it had a center drawer and I'm like wait a minute, I put the side drawers in backwards .
I also bought this plain jane old solid wood beech wood table. It's freaking old... It has square nuts and old cast iron wood screws holding it together. It's been a long time since I see beech wood furniture. Anyways i'm going to take it apart reglue and refinish it since the hide glue has deteriorated. There's not one piece of veneer on this table.
My gramma taught me to sew on a treadle, way back in 1965. Then I graduated to the electric machines. Mom had a Kenmore with cams for different stitches. Now I have 2 120-2 Singer machines. And all of the attachments.
Oh wow! My mom had one of those manual sewing machines years ago, I loved it. It belonged to my gran before. I occasionally see ones like yours in antique shops, they really are something special
