TV crushes

I used to think Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was very attractive...then I met him in person several years ago. He's so small!! I thought he was tall and really muscular, but a lot of it is apparently staging and camera angles. He's not much bigger than I was I'm 5'9 and he seemed like he may be an inch taller than me. :/ I weighed about 170 at the time, and I think I probably could have whooped him It really threw me off though. Very strange when you meet a celeb face to face. SUCH a HUGE difference!!

I met Mr T a few years ago. I thought he was a big guy, at least that's how he always appeared on TV. Well, he isn't! I don't think he's even 5'7!

Most champion body builders are little guys like that. Something about the shorter frame making it easier to pack on muscle density. Arnold and Lou Ferigno are the exception. Stalone is about 5'8 too, I think.

What no David Hassellhoffs? When I was 12 I LOVED knight rider both kitt and Hassellhoff. Of course they were reruns then. I tried to watch it the other day. Good grief!

I met my crush too - Clint Eastwood, when I was 19. The crush was over when I was about 15-16. All I could think was "why didn't this happen 3 years ago?" Of couurse, at 19 I could actually say a few words to him; At 16 that would have been impossible. So maybe it was for the best . He didn't disappoint at all; tall, good looking, and very nice. I was on my way to the stables, dressed for riding; we had a short conversation about horses. He learned to ride specifically for "Rawhide"; he'd never been on a horse before. I grew up near the town where he later became mayor, so it wasn't unusual to see him around town.

Sigh, in all the years Paul Newman lived in CT and traveled to Ashford to his Hole in the Wall Gang Camp I never ran into him. I can't count the number of people I know who did. And now it's too late

I met Paul Newman at Mid Ohio Racetrack many years ago. His eyes were the bluest blue I have ever seen on a man.

He didn't look that muscular either. I got my picture taken w/him, but don't know what I did w/it. He was at our local 4 H fair, and I was giving him tips on riding. They were filming a TV show, and I thought I was going to be in it. (He actually rode in the fair, thus the tips!)
