Will you watch a show about a family trying to be self sufficient? Think we'll learn from it? It's tomorrow at 10pm so I'd love to continue the post with reactions.

I would like to check it out, but don't watch TV and have no cable hook-up.I sure did like the Waltons though, in the good old days...lol...I'd say they were a pretty self reliant gang...I'll have to read what you all have to say about this new show...

I would watch it but I don't have TV.

After reading the description I feel the show is going to be walking a fine line. I hope they do not depict all of us trying to be SS as "doomsayers".

It's on the History channel, so i won't be watching it. TV antenna for me only.

I hope they have done a good job in the presentation. Many times the producer, script writers, and the sponsors get a hold of good material and make it corny and totally miss the target. Let's how well they do on this one.
