Use a mason jar on your blender!

I remember that being done when I was young, had totally forgot about it.

Yup, my osterizer blender's intructions mentioned it way back when in the 70's when I got mine. I use small jars to make baby food. Then unscrew the bottom blenderizing part and put a jar lid on it to store or freeze it.

Works like a charm.
 
We've used Mason jars on our blender for years. I guess I assumed everyone knew that. Never gave it much thought actually.

lol, if it makes you feel any better my SO thought that the flavor of the dilly bars that dairy queen sells was the ice cream. He couldn't understand why anyone would eat butterscotch ice cream with a chocolate shell, and when i bought a box of the chocolate he was upset because he doesn't like chocolate ice cream :rolleyes:
