But, shouldn't she buy a toaster instead so she can cook frozen waffles and pancakes in there. After all, it's so much easier, and it's what normal people do.

So that's how normal people do it?? Trying to do what normal people do is way too stressful for me.
I really don't own a toaster. I got tired of trying to slice my homemade bread thin enough to fit into the slots, so it went away at the last garage sale.
