off to grocery to get a few good coupon items from HT---they have watermelons etc on sale I want. A few frozen items I want to take camping in a few weeks to the beach. not much. So will see how I do.

hit Food Lion yesterday....cost was about $80--I paid $37
So I did well.


Then off to school at 12

UGH--family picnic day. while it will be 'fun' I do not look forward to sitting in a lawn chair outside in 1000 deg. heat. oh yea...it will be hot!! only lasts an hr. so I don't think I shall melt, I will make it LOL LOL------then inside to her classroom for some award she is getting. (all Kinders get this award...lol)

tomorrow 1/2 day school and it is done!! Nicole can't wait now.



had tony's parents over for burgers and hotdogs last night. wow, did we eat...love grilling! best burgers! Ins. sent tree people to their house and when checked it seems part of the roof caved under that big tree, some attic damage.....the tree people are going to chainsaw and remove. Ins. doesn't want tony and them doing the work because they could cause way more damage in removing the tree off the house...this is a big tree folks LOL

tony thinks he is baling hay this early afternoon---I know he forgot about family picnic day at school today HA HA he has to get the conveyor from the farm, bring here so we can easily stack/load...then we have to stack/load the 80 acres at the other property....ugh all heavy work and hay up the nose will be causing me grief I bet lol



well my $15 bath dog groom was wonderful. Cost $20 (tip $10)
so for $30 I got bath, groom, toenails clipped, teeth brushed, little hair mats behind ears gone, azz hair trimmed lightly with scissors so poop don't stick to the long hairs (haha), and his belly trimmed just a tad.
OMG he was SO WHITE! they did a wonderful job and when I brought him in he was turning yellowish haha.......little PITA dog is now so white I have to wear shades! that lasted about 4 hrs...then out in the yard and into the red carolina clay and yea, he is already turning kinda yellow underneath again..........but I will hit this groomer and keep him sparkling cause that price I think is reasonable.



well, gotta get moving

got 75 beautiful bales off my small acerage and have it stacked for goats in my horse barn.

still baling up the 80 acres, will be a good haul off that one.

OMG it is way too hot for hay work!





easy day
label soaps for market tomorrow
make a few batches today

clean something easy
change out filters
put bulb for porch light (darn thing burned out about 2 months ago and I have asked hubby 100 times for a new light--duh, guess who has to screw in a lightbulb this morning..sick of not having it LOL--it was a contest of wills, would he do it, and no he hasn't, so I will do it today)



other than that, swim, good off etc. ain't killing myself today for sure!

I told hubby we are going out to dinner for the heck of it....LOL

off to the 'fish camp'

not the greatest, but it sure will fill him up and they have a great salad bar for me tons of kid friendly things.

man it was hot today. even the pool was hot but we had fun. I kept Nicole home this 1/2 day last school day. why bother lol

K teacher told me she is a 9--(and I think, what the heck is a 9?) ---she said that translates to doing 1 and into 2nd grade work..hmmm...do I have a genius? HA HA=----well glad she is doing well so school should be easy for her, I like that....onto 1st grade next season.

fun day today.

nicole's friends couldn't come over, the grandpa invited the family out for the day, so we hung out alone. called Barb but her and hubby were off in far away places to get major tractor part. and to price a mower deck for her monster mower, the $8K one....ugh....poor gal, spends alot on that dairy. so no swimming at Barbs, so Nicole and I teamed up and spent the day in our pool goofing off.

hot today but a decent breeze and that helped. .....well that breeze was this monster storm we are getting now LOL....big lightening, high winds, thunder and it is normal early summer storm. I love big storms!!!

pastures look so nice mowed down.

easy day. dad did OK at market, only $250 in sales but hey that is fine. I don't want to work hard....but with me leaving for beach trip on June 20 I have been stocking inventory like crazy to leave him with tons of soap to sell....ugh, always work huh---


other than goofing off, basically it was a relaxing day.

few usual chores when we get home....other than that, relaxing day again!



all good here, hot, big storm last night, everything washed clean which is nice--so away to the lake for me and Nicole

One of her friends mom called last night
she says---do you work?
I said--kinda, farm type stuff from home
she says-- I need daycare for Emma, can you do it?
I say--NO WAY. run here and there and take alot of camping vacations, sorry


yikes, man oh man that won't be me. I can barely watch my own kiddo ya know HA HA


so off I go

stock up inventory big time, with my camping trips starting to happen frequently now I need inventory or I am screwed.


cool breeze today, feels nice

usual stuff today......nothing dramatic

easy peazy and will relax kinda and swim and goof off with Nicole in a bit.



ah, fun days of summer huh


I absolutely love having no garden/crops. So far I got tons from everyone else.

I gave away soooo much produce thru the last 15 years, I am taking some back from others. When asked before--do you want? No, I got tons, do you want some more? HA HA....well now I say yes. Dads white cukes were delish and Rachel had some great squash. So this is working out wonderful.

busy busy again today


my aunt diane and cousin Ann are coming next week for a few days to visit my parents (diane is dad's sister) haven't seen them in about 7 years so will be fun to see them again!!

have to clean up the bass boat and get it over to dads lake. he wants to take diane on a tour around the lake....so I have to get it ready and drive it over today or tomorrow. haven't had the boat out for a bit. gotta snazz it up for them.


work on soap inventory

have to hit the grocery for a few things. no coupons match any good sales, all stuff I don't buy..blah....lol

do some swimming.

have a small fence repair to pasture fence I am going to tackle today (well maybe, well yea gotta do it, well maybe--haha)

usual few chores and then most of the day is mine.


usual day, without a rush tho. taking it slow today.
