OK, it made me tired just reading your journal. If I could, I'd go back to bed.
 
well icky Friday here

rain to the max. dark skies. warm tho which is super nice.

ticked off already. did a stupid thing, let the little mutt out the front door in a break of the downpour, it went straight to the red Carolina clay that was around the new tree we planted in the front yard. Never thinking I let it come back straight thru the carpet onto the hardwood and a million little tiny red foot prints. damn near died! :( but I got it all cleaned up. I hate my carpet ruined in any way---ugh I just didn't think on that one this morning LOL then I had to chase it around the house to get the face and feet cleaned, I think it was digging a bit---good gravy---dog is now Carolina red clay face and feet. ugh all I am thinking is ^%(*&^ *TT^&&*%^^ I*^&& and more hahaha

going to finish painting the bathroom today. gotta get that done. Tony went to change the stupid hinges on the cabinet doors and they didn't fit correct. :barnie as usual I gotta return that crap to Lowes and buy a certain type. Geez man is it ever stinkin' easy???? Nope.
So gotta return that hardware next week and get new. Good thing I found the darn receipt haha


Today is paint, goof off, laundry, paint, goof off, paint, good off, lol

don't need to hit the road today. so inside just goofing off finding crap to do. I got crap to do but kinda not in the mood to do it. ya'll know that feeling



hope everyone has a great day----gotta run for a minute, I "hear" something not right and that little dog is off doing heavens knows what--------yikes

Don't feel bad about your hinges. My master bedroom toilet is terminal. I have replaced the handle 3 times. It is running. So I just shut the water off. I'm over it. :hu

So what color is your bathroom??? Did you take before and after pics???

I'm thinking about Lowe's later today. I need some larger peat pots for my tomatoes. But lucky me it's like 1/2 mile from my house.

LOL Gina I hear ya on the toilet big time!

Nicole's bathroom did that.....Tony was not adjusting the chain length correctly on the new handle. I "finally" got it to stop running when I went NUTSO on him. I said "FIX IT AND NOW" and I don't give a darn what ya have to do, but I am over this and it will be corrected even if we have to buy a whole new toilet" well, he took the time and adjusted the chain (duh) after weeks of me going nuts. of course mine was simple, but who knows why crap don't work right hahaha

ya know, sometime going NUTSO works, sometimes it don't



Told Tony the other day I am sick of shopping. Just having to run or this or that...yea I can live without most of "it". but in the end I do hit that store lol


Boring beige now...with hand prints from Nicole. some of my makeup splattered over one side of the wall near the mirror (huh, HOW DID I DO THAT) lol time to freshen up went with very light blue/grey/green color called Pillow mint? huh haha but it is a nice change from boring ugly beige

now of course gotta get alot of new stuff to match lol
towels, curtain, and throw rugs eh, it is cool
 
Nice Carolina Blue Sky day but chilly outside, but with this sun the day should warm up nice.



Not much happening. Usual chores, etc.

going to take life easy today. if it warms up nice will take Nicole and Bolt to the city park to metal detect. They can play I can try to find a diamond ring (yea right haha)


decided to put off finish painting bathroom until Monday. Nicole back in school, Tony at work---so no one here and I can whip out that bathroom and be DONE with it !!


well off to cook a real big southern style breakfast. bacon, eggs, gravy biscuits, might be adventourous and throw in some silver dollar pancakes also. Tony's work schedule rotates thru weekends so when I get the rare opportunity that Nicole and Tony are home the same morning I go a bit overboard on breakfast...lol


so off to get the day started.

Good Sunday Morning


had a great day so far

warm out, mostly sunny

drove to Mom and Dads early. Mom made Nicole french toast, bacon. she was in heaven lol

Dad had Nicole help clean the basement a bit, they turned over the garden soil a bit and then we chatted and played cuthroat pinochole. We are pinchole people...who won...ME! :) a ha I had great hands falling right into my lap on deal.

love it lol



so back home to goof around a bit, gotta hit that laundry.

dog threw up (would you believe) just 4 driveways from my Moms house...and did not throw up on the way home.....WEE...so maybe (fingers crossed) he is handling car sick better? Sure hope so!

My brother taught us to play pinochle last Christmas. Fun stuff!

When we would go on long car trips with our dog when she was younger, dramine did the trick. Not sure if it works on shorter trips though.
 
Maybe if you take the dog on enough car trips she will get used to it.

I'm glad someone is having an easy day. I work at Meyer's on Monday so I have to do an extra good cleaning/chores because I won't get anything done by the time I get home.

Saturday was my goof off day. I was just exhausted and took a long afternoon nap. Then did some quick chores and laid around and watched TV for the rest of the evening and then went to sleep early. I need days like that once in a while.
 
thanks FF I thought about dramine also....wondering if age and driving it around a bit would make the dog more car worthy lol

oh yea pinochle is just so fun. our family--everyone plays lol
