WA HOO FarmerChick

today was a "ugh" kind of day got some stuff done, don't feel great in general for some reason, probably cause sleep was crappy.

went to city park with Tony Nicole and Bolt. Tony watched N as I metal detected. Found 8 cents, some junk metal. Had a good time but my knee is shot. I guess I have to give in and make a stupid Dr. apt cause I can't get the swelling to go down...darn it...just can't get it better at all and the stiff is getting worse. poo

nothing much doing. I am moving super slow now. Good thing I truly don't have a ton of things I have to do like before. I never had a bum knee before and it sure has stopped me almost all the way now. hobbling sucks -- my other leg and hip hurt from walking funny lol I can't win this one darn it...lol


so off to relax and put some ice and heat on the old knee...makes it feel good but sure doesn't seem to fix it.

Sorry about your knee. Good to hear you had some down time at the park.

Did I tell you I used my dh metal detector out in the desert once. I found a nickle. And a bunch of scrap metal. Kinda disappointing. :idunno

gotta re-roll a few spots that came out steaky, guess I was painting too fast lol then I have to just get the room put back together, kinda in a shambles So yea, darn near done. At least the hard part is over lol


Nicole said she wants to paint her room pink....I thought, OH HELL NO
lol

I told her painting is a fall/winter project....well that worked so I am off the hook right now lol
 
COLD outside this morning. sucks so ready for warm weather now


do nothing day

well laundry, finish up the bathroom paint project which is darn near done.

IF it warms up this afternoon, which I doubt cause heavy cloud cover and "looks like snow" but it won't ----I might start getting the front of the house cleaned up a bit....going to put pine needles along the front instead of mulch. Those bark chips "seem to walk" while the pine needles I think will be less invasive I hope lol

So my mind is saying outside projects, but that darn chill is still keeping me inside. crap lol



so off to get moving and might search the tv for a good movie to sit down and watch and relax.

other than that I hope ya'll don't work too hard today, I won't...lol
 
well I ran up to the little gas/store to get a few things fast before I start to paint and the guy at the counter is nice and we chat.

he says are ya in a hurry?
I say Yup gotta get that room done.

he says get gas.

I say, nah got little less than 1/2 tank...will do it in a day or 2

he says, I am raising the price in a minute --up 10 cents to $3.52

I said, crap, ok, so I filled up at $3.42

He is so nice, not a big savings in money but at least he told me. He is a good guy LOL




ok off I go to work

bought the biz from the old retired "southern people"
