yea, you said it...holiday and kids get everything wrong LOL
 
Nicole's ear hurts still....meds I thought would kick in better and faster, but ugh....so this morning she is better but complains every now and then.....so I guess she is on the mend.


fireworks great last night. the neighbor a few houses down shot off alot of big ones and the farmer across the lake must have spent about $1,000....cause he blew up some major big finale rockets etc. I know the cost lol, they are expensive and this guy put on tons of fire display. guess he had a blast and we loved watching them directly across the lake. good night!!! kids had a blast with firecrackers, sparklers and other small stuff. we only bought like 300 worth and blew those off pretty fast lol oh well...kinda glad it is over, the holidays, cause my azz is dragging big time. Rich and family left at 4 am for 10 hr drive back to Jersey---but everyone had a blast. now time to get back into a good easy routine. woof!



cleaning a bit...to catch up for lost days

still working on camper (ugh--love to travel, hate the mess lol)

still working on pool to get that back in good shape but moving slower on it cause Nicole can't swim for about 10 days due to that ear.

poor Tony started his 4-12hr shift today. he will be dragging.

gotta hit the grocery store for a few things---then get back into my coupon game for the rest of the week. not alot of coupons I use so pickings will be sparse this week...but I do what I can. every buck saved gets me closer to another vacation :lol:



so far all good---off to find some trouble! :)
 
Why in the world would he want to come back to Jersey? I'd like to leave! :cool:
 
LOL I grew up in Jersey. Rich is still there and Kathleen, his youngest goes to college in 4 years...they are thinking of moving to Virginia or somewhere warmer. I had alot of fun in Jersey ;)
but yea, for me, NC weather is tops.
 
never got to the pool yesterday...so today it is time to get in and get those leaves out and chemical the heck out of it and get it ready for great swimming.

doing laundry, not much


should be easy day goofing off around and doing small stupid chores.


no good coupons...nothing I use and it kills me cause I see great deals, but why buy if I won't eat it :lol: :lol:



off to get some things done...everyone enjoy this fine sunny day! (well at least here)
 
My friend the "coupon queen" signed me up for a couponing class later this month. :/ I'll go just because I'm curious. Who knows, maybe I'll learn something that will actually help me out. I'm skeptical though. Canned and boxed foods aren't my thing.
 
oh JR I would love to hear what you learn in that class...maybe something more to help me.

I do very well not having to buy tons of boxed foods etc. but you have to search for those better coupons. I hit websites and they send me free coupons all the time...so that helps. but takes time which stinks LOL

but when you go to that class let me know what you learned. any way to save a buck is important now.
 
It's a 3 hour class and suposedly they send you home with tons of printed materials. I'll wade through it all and let you know!
 
thanks------3 hrs....yikes what are they going to teach you I wonder? LOL I can't wait to know! :)
