I am hot hahaha I used that fire for showing how stinking hot it is outside. woof!

pool is like a sauna now but still refreshing (if you can call it that)

had a few outside things planned, heck I cancelled that lol too hot...Since I don't truly have to sweat and faint, I opted out of it.

AC is wonderful :)

When we lived in AZ, we used to have pool parties where everyone would bring bags of ice to cool down the pool! I feel like I'm back in the 113 degree weather. Dry heat, yadda yadda, it's still hot! Bring on fall! Without AC, we would kill each other!:lol:

you know someone said to me before to put ice in the pool. I am too cheap. :lol:
 
Nicole has her 2 friends over, Emily and Destiny. they are outside playing with the hose right now and into the pool we go in a bit.

they are wide open....to much of my horror...the 3 are full of energy, which while I would love to borrow some of that energy, geez, slow the heck down kids! :(

so some swimming should poop them out and off I go to enjoy this fine Saturday.

off to mom and dads and swimming at the lake for a bit

have to get home eariler cause I need to make soap batches. orders thru the roof. damn I am getting tired...lol...I sell so much it is insanity. oh well...good I guess but after 15 years of soaps, my brain is getting fried.

Tony had a fishing trip planned for Tues/Wed with his buddy up in the mountains but buddy is very sick right now so that will probably be cancelled. and darn I thought I would get rid of him for a few days--lol

other than that, not doing much. not in the mood. hot outside. in this weather I am glad I am done farming. wow I don't miss most of that horrible hard work or the tons of animals. my 'retirement' was well planned lol

usual chores


have some mowing, which I thought Tony was giong to do today--dang it, the tractor is broken and he and his Dad are at the barns fixing that stupid thing. if that dang tractor would have been sold like Tony wanted, he wouldn't be wasting his time on the damn thing. Tony and his Dad co-own a bunch of tractors....as they 'needed' a size they would pony up and get one. well now there are like 8 that need to be sold and his Dad doesn't want to......right now....geez, ya know....keep the damn things til they are worth nothing...then were does that get any of your cash back in your pocket????

but whatever, lol....I don't care...I just know I need his butt home helping me, but then again I have gotten use to that help. Normally he was always at the barns, but since we closed the farm down, he has done alot more work around the house, and I got lazy to that LOL LOL


oh well


so out to mow then swim and then I am taking the damn day off.

Ever thought of putting blocks of ice into your pool to cool it down?? That's what we're thinking of doing. BIL/SIL's pool was literally like taking a bath over the weekend. :P

yea thought about it but too cheap to spend all that money on ice. no way I could make that much to even remotely cool the pool

nah, the nights are getting a tad cooler with the storms around, so the water is not as hot as it was....I can live with it.

I have to say my days since farm closing are just great . I forgot how having so much time to myself is just friggin' wonderful to the max..lol

back and $130 lighter :P

had to get some paper supplies but the monitor was $129 on sale for $99---they didn't have one so they are shipping to my home and should be here tomorrow...so did Ok I guess

back light was blown. they don't fix that so I thought instead of driving around and find someone who did, a new one would be easier and probably cheaper lol



off to get stuff done....so far good day for me, hope everyones day goes well
