Makes you wonder what happened to the folks who lived in these castles you come across. Any history?

The history is very vague. I wonder why they left it, it's such a lovely little castle :hu And it's not far from Clonmel. You'd have thought someone would've kept it up.

Beautiful castle!!!
I can say this I've always lived in the USA and have never seen sights as beautiful as the pics you are posting. I don't even know if there's any good ruins here in America like there is over there in Ireland.

Come visit you all… This castle gets rented out for holidays, weekends etc. Sleeps 14 or 16 people, e1,000 per night in peak season, but a better rate "off peak" if you take it for a week ;) Who's coming?

This one's getting restored. I'm not so sure about the modern touches, but it's nice to see it's loved anyway :)

Beautiful pics So happy to see some of the old castles are still being loved and cared for.

Can I come visit you? I have a friend in Ireland also who has been wanting me to come visit for years. Maybe I could swing by your place also for a quick how'do and be on my way. What is the best time to visit ireland? I need to get my passport renewed anyways.
