Man oh man - I wish I had a billion tomatoes to can. But, I know that I'd be acomplain' too!

fem....yeah I think everybody complains DURING canning season, but when it's over, and all the work is done, and ya open a can of tomatoes in February and put on a big pot of soup...it's worth it I think the problem is, we get spoiled with all the fresh stuff during the summer and forget what the store crap tastes like in the winter when we haven't had a good harvest!

My biggest complaint this year is I got NUTTIN' to can....

Even though okra and eggplant are comin on! I can't cut the okra fast enough.

That's sad fem Wish you were closer, I'd surely share with ya! I got tomatoes running out my ears, well, till I gave away 3 or 4 gallon bags of frozen ones, now it's not so bad I still have a bunch to can though. They seem to be winding down now, which is welcomed this time!

Pink, had a good time with ya yesterday girl! Can't wait till your parents get here so we can cook out again! Looks like the weather will be nice for it too

I ran all day today...took DH to work, cut okra, picked cukes, took some stuff to moms, went to the bank, went shopping, fueled up, came home, unloaded, went shopping again, came home, fed animals, went got hubs, etc. etc. etc. and my day is GONE...and niecey girl has been thrust upon the household for the weekend, because Memaw, quite frankly, is tired of her for a little bit DD is gone to a school football game with a friend...and I am about broke down lol! My back is KILLIN MEH! I have no clue what I did to it a few days ago, but man, I wish it'd let up a bit. Working the garden, with the animals, and hauling in groceries really isn't all that fun with a backache :/

Tomorrow we hope to get Trucky running again, I MISS her!!!! Stanky pig buckets NEED to go to the pigs, like yesterday It is seriously so nasty gross...one got blowed with flies, and just ugh...but I CAN'T possibly haul them in the car, not even 2 miles to the pig...it's just gotten overwhelming lately. I want my Trucky, and i want her NOW So, water pump is going on tomorrow, and hopefully that will make her feel better

Hubs is cooking breakfast this morning Biscuits and chocolate gravy, bacon, and eggs. The biscuits and gravy are leftovers, but he is bringing it all together!!! Love this man

After breakfast, we will get the truck fixed. I still have outside work, and cleaning to do as well. DD and niecey will be helping around the house and yard while we work on the truck. THEN, we are going to the park, and after that....the kids don't know it yet, but I hope to take them to the fair late this afternoon But shhhhhhhh!!! Don't tell them, just in case we don't get chores completed and run out of time and/or energy. It's gonna be a long day y'all!!

We slept in this morning because we have literally NOT had the opportunity to sleep in for over a month, and got an extra hour of rest. It was lovely!!
