Ok! Mine are 18 weeks old Sunday, when can I expect eggs?


I havent been able to get on in a day or two, been busy.

At around 25 weeks old. So...they should lay in the Spring they wouldn't lay prior to Spring anyway, so it wors out huh?





MY UPDATE FOR THE DAY!!!!
DD made another $11 bucks with her business today, and is looking forward to tomorrow, and has put aside $10 of it

DH......set my garbage can and almost the kitchen on fire. How you ask? Weelllll he thought it a great idea to dump the ash pan from the wood stove in there rather than walk 30 steps to dump it outside I have a new hole in the trash can, AND THE KITCHEN FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!! THAT is his "moment" for the first hafl of the year, I hope he realizes he does NOT have another one to "spend" for a while

The cabbage was 99 cents/head and the farm market. DW brought 5 home. Medium sized but heavy and solid...dinner tomorrow night!!!!

.....and 10 lbs of sweet potatoes!!!!

I'm coming to your house for supper!!!

I have a chicken question. I found a two egg nest in the corner of the coop and I only found it because she was laying in it. Never had em lay there before. Could it be a sign she may being laying a nest to hatch??

I think she is near the top. She is the LARGEST hen I own.
