Thanks I need to weed the garden again early this week, but Monday is fishing and blackberry picking, soap making, and various other stuffs. Maybe Tuesday

nothing exciting, just laundry soap.

Broody Buff has one baby. ONE out of 8 eggs, and she is still sitting on one other egg. Dunno how it'll turn out.

DD made me mad messing with her. Went out to check and took her off the nest OFF the baby that had just hatched and left her. When I confronted her she got all smart mouthy and said well I take care of them too!! So I went and got her darn snake and put it out in the grass without her permission to show her how it feels to have your animal messed with without your knowledge She's out looking for the snake now All upset...boo hoo. One day she'll learn maybe to leave stuff alone that doesn't belong to her. She just insists on doing whatever she wants.

Anyway, the snake isn't far, but it will be if she messes with MY animals again without permission. If I hadn't went out there that chick would have been dead by morning too, along with the rest of them :/ WHY can't she just leave stuff ALONE!?!?

She learned her lesson on that one. I told her if she wants to keep her pet, leave my animals alone unless she has express permission to or is instructed to mess with them. The snake is fine, it was just out in the grass warming up exactly where I left it. He was cold when I took him out there, so wasn't exactly going anywhere as sluggish as he was. Now she knows how it feels though and that got the point across better than anything I could've said to her.

Baby Buff seems to be doing okay. The other egg hasn't hatched yet. It is cute as a button under Mommas wing. She is very protective now...she sure wasn't the other day Stupid bird :/

We got another hail storm today, had to go out and restake tomatoes again because the wind blew them so hard some of the stakes broke. It rained HARD and blew sideways into the front windows up under the porch. At least I won't have to water the garden for a few days I got more tomatoes, green beans, and squash out a bit ago, and noticed the pole beans are starting to produce, so I'll be picking them here shortly as well

I need to go cook. Gonna have hot chicken, fried rice, and squash casserole for supper

Picked more blackberries this morning, about a half gallon again. I found some elderberries and wild dill out there too I also talked to a few folks about the best fishing spots and intend to go fishing today at a couple new places.

I caught nothing again. DD wouldn't stop complaining so we just came home :/ We were only there about 45 minutes and she was complaining and...YELLing. the. entire. time. What the crap is there to yell about on a creek bank anyway?!?!?! COMPLETE waste of time and gas. I give up on fishing with her. When she goes somewhere I will go by myself from now on.

I need to go put berries away, and work in the garden weeding some, and pick beans again. I got a few off the pole beans yesterday May have some more squash out there too.

I have court tomorrow over the stupid speeding ticket. FINALLY I get to go somewhere ALONE too bad it's gonna suck. Maybe no one will be yelling there...peaceful peaceful court actually sounds good...as a matter of fact I almost wish they'd put me in jail...I need a vacation :/
