What a DEAL!!!!!!!!! I stopped by the local feed store to get feed and asked them about their Fall seeds and if they had any seed taters. They had ONE 50 bag left over from Spring. It's not the bestest looking sack o taters, but for FIVE bucks

how could I say no?! Regular price for that bag is $25!! There are a few I will have to throw out, but the rest look pretty good, and I will plant them tomorrow

I also got cabbage seeds and will be starting my late cabbage in flats tomorrow as well. I can't wait for the next step of gardening! This is almost as exciting as Spring planting, but not quite

I guess I'm easily excited but that sack of taters is just....beautiful to me
Oh, and court, was retarded :/ The judge asked me if I could pay the court costs and I told him I couldn't afford it, and then he said well you can do one of two things...either get a new court date, or have a trial (which is my word against the officers word mind you)
Me: for what?
judge: for a hearing
Me: but, for what?
judge: to state your case
Me: but, I already did that
judge: silence..
Me: So, basically it's my word against his(officer)
judge: yes, but we don't know what he'll say
Me: Oh, I have a pretty good idea what he'll say...the same thing he said when I argued with him when he pulled me over to begin with..
judge: Well you need to make a decision
Me: Well I don't know what i'm deciding

judge: whether or not to have a continuation or we can have a trial today
Me: well, I don't have the money to pay court costs and likely won't have then and I am NOT GUILTY (like HELLLOOOO idiot?!)
judge: well we'll give you time
Me: *wondering time for what...to rip $75 out my butt to hand to you crooks?!?*
judge: Okay we'll give you a continuation
Me: *blank stare* Ooooooo Kayyyyy
See. RE TAR DED! :/ I did get to see my buddy (police cheif) though

He's so sweet. Talked to him for a few minutes..he's getting so skinny and elderly looking I almost didn't recognize him. It has been about a year since I saw him, and he has aged like ten years in that time

Poor guy, they must be driving him crazy too

Anyway it was nice to see and talk to him, but I really do wonder what is wrong, it set me back that he looked so....almost ill

Hope he's okay.
I took mom some seed taters before I left town to come home. I took our pastor some tomatoes and squash and a half pint of strawberry jam. he was PROUD of his maters

He said these are the first he's gotten, so he would enjoy them. He really needs to plant a garden! :/ I may offer to plant them one next year if they'll have the ground broke up good. Their baby girl well..she's 4 now, but baby girl anyway...she has serious food allergies, and would do well to eat local and fresh foods, but they have no time to plant a garden. She is a nurse in the cancer center of the hospital in Savannah, and he is a postmaster and pastor and they have 3 wild rugrats, so um...yeah they don't have time

I feel so bad for them though, all the running, all the fast food...just like we used to be actually, and I remember it being okay until I figured out there was better ways to live, slower ways, and better. KWIM?
