Me too!!! Then by then our garden will be in and canning will commence. Mom has let me stay home with Gran and can. Im also trying to work out a FFA field trip here in September. In FFA we go on several field trips that are Ag related and Im going to suggest coming here to see the garden, my grain crop, the chickens, ducks, rabbits, bees, and see Gran can.

I think my teacher would go for it. I'd like it at the first of September, I will have baby meaties then plus baby meat buns. Of course it will be gross when they find out what Im gonna do with them

You people an your pee sticks have reallllly cursed me...

I just got a call from a cousin on the far side of the state that wants me to get her kids out of foster care and take them in...all. 3. of. them...

Say WHAT? Seriously?! Now, these are the kind of "black sheep" of the family...my favorite uncles kids, that he lost custody of and they moved far away and just resurfaced a few years ago when he died...with CARLOADS of babies in tow. Now this cousin has drug issues and has lost her kids to foster, and wants ME to take them in! Again,

First off, what would it take to get them? And then...what would it take to FEED 3 young kids, ages 6,7,&8, and clothe them, and provide for them? And WHERE pray tell do I have room and money for such things?!

I feel for the children, but really...what can I do?

This person asked for ME to take them, ME?

Oh jeesh! I DO feel for the kids...but that would be a MAJOR undertaking! Good luck on your decision...it would be hard to say no to family, however, at this point in MY life, I would not be able to do it. 3 more mouths to feed, backs to cloth, school supplies..you are talking a lot of money and work..are they good kids? Issues? ( i am sure under the circumstances) Wow, Im so sorry this has been thrown on your shoulders.
