My neck is somewhat better. I got some blueberries in trade for some maters and got some melons in trade I picked up 700 pounds of maters today. I sold/traded all but 100 pounds to local restaurants. The rest are on my table in the front right now If they don't sell in a day or so, they'll be in jars. One is already in my belly They are GOOD big juicy maters

I have to go pick up my guineas in a little while. Then after i get them I have to stop off in town and get a truckload of watermelons and back home to drop off about 20 by my stand out front, and then sit somewhere and sell a bunch of them. I have a few spoken for, but I'll have about 120 or so on two pallets. It's gonna be a long day, but looking more worth it every minute!

UGH! Felt more like 350 I have two crates of tomatoes left and a pallet of melons. I JUST got in and got dinner done. Niecey came home with me. The child was BEGGING to make some money too, so I let her ask people if they wanted to buy a melon. She made more money than I did!!! People were just giving her cash, and not even getting a watermelon Oh to be 8 and cute again...I could take over the world!!!!!! I didn't let her take it too far, I MADE her stop at 7 dollars, and boy was she mad at me That was more than enough though. She did help load watermelons into folks cars. I told her I was gonna make her unload the steel, but for some reason she just giggled We made about $150 today though, with the steel and produce, of course I have to take fuel out of that, but I was pretty pleased with the results! The house payment doesn't seem so far away anymore I am seriously whooped though. I have to deliver more melons first thing in the morning, and try to push the rest of that pallet, AND pick tomatoes at the farm again, and then try to unload the rest of those that I had left from today. It's neverending.....but I am soooooo GLAD to be making some funds Praise God!

Don't admire me, I just wanna keep my house, well...wanna keep a roof over my kids head, I actually rather dislike the house itself Plain and simple, you do what you have to do to survive, not a thing special about it But thanks for the compliment

Not to squash your inspiration, but I am about DEAD on my feet, and have to go get another truckload of melons AFTER I make DH some mayonnaise, ON MY LUNCH BREAK I have made good money today though, so am NOT complaining I have sold cukes and watermelons all morning! I sold out of tomatoes completely. I stopped at a yard sale for niecey to spend her few dollars, and wound up making $40 off the produce in my truck Off to get more melons and make some more. Tomorrow I have a sow and a hog to pick up. The hog goes to my buddy. The sow is coming home with meeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I have a guy lined up to slaughter my hog HERE when he's ready, and I will be learning whilst we work He is gonna do it all for some chops. TheBEST part though, is the meat he is getting, is going straight to the shelter BONUS

Got. too. hot!!!!!!!!!!! I am completely drained, but still have to cook dinner It was cloudy this afternoon, but it was like sitting in a Louisiana swamp it was so sticky hot. I sat out another few hours selling melons, and now I regret having done it. I did make some money, but I feel soooooo ick right now. I ate a watermelon while I was out there to keep my fluids built up, but apparently it wasn't enough. I am sooooo not cooking till the sun goes down! I have a few folks coming to pick up some melons, but I think I'll send DD out there. I'm busy sippin kool aid

It's hot here right now but nothing as bad as yesterday or last week! Those 105-115 indexes kill me. I can't wait til Fall; I wait for it every year just as excited as I can be. It's nasty out here in the summer!

see i had a harder time with yesterdays heat (even though today was hotter with about the same humidity) so ive come to the conclusion my body is REALY weird LOL.

that being said, yes definatly take it easy! the heat indeax is still up there enough to make it tough and i need you to be strong and healthy so next dozer visit you can withstand his drooly aweseomness and never ceasing energy LOL!
