I think those covers are machine washable, too!

 I bet it still works when the truck dies too cause i'll never use it :hu unless maybe I fall in a creek in January again....it would have been handy then, but I haven't done that lately :D

TODAY I planted my strawberries :woot I have so far started bell pepper, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, brocolli, and tabasco peppers. The rest of the stuff i will sew directly into the soil..including lots more tomatoes! Tomorrow I have plans to get taters, and onions going. I'm potting garlic tonight :D Just a few but I loves me some fresh garlic!! :D

LOL! So you have done it too?!

I was riding horses with my daddy and we were about a mile out from the house. The cinch strap gave, and me and saddle wound up in the creek. I was COMPLETELY soaked! That was SUCH a good horse though. She never spooked, she just turned and looked at me like..."Whadda ya doin down there?!" and then sniffed the saddle, looked back and me, and I almost think she was laughing  Daddy tried to make me get back on her bareback, but with all the sand in me drawers I just would rather walk :lau so I lead her home, brushed her out, hung the saddle, and THEN took care of my cold butt  I was FREEZING!! i think that is the last time i have been riding too. I miss daddy and his horses :( Good memeory though, he sure laughed his butt off all the way home :smack Bought me new undies for Christmas that year too...what a joker! :P

Several years ago, we had one of those freakishly warm days in January. So, I decided to go out in my canoe at a local state park, Parvin. There were no bugs, no people, just me and nature. And, I was fine-until nature started to call. I beached the canoe, got out to go and answer her. When I went to get back in, I overbalanced the canoe, and fell in. That water was cold! So, I got out, and started heading back. But, I was freezing. So, as soon as I got to the camping area, I beach the canoe again. Then, ran around collecting wood, etc and started a fire. (I always carry a few emergency supplies w/me for just in case, so I had matches.) I got a fire going in one of the fire rings, took off my shoes and socks, and dried them b4 the fire. I didn't have a bucket w/me, so I used the paddle to throw dirt on the fire b4 I left. I did stop at the park office and let them know I had made a fire and why for just in case they wanted to be sure it was out.
