Wannabefree...guess what I got in the mail today!?!?!?!?

The top picture, growing by your porch is curly dock also called sour dock. It is used as a pot herd. Boil it for thirty minutes with one change of water. I can't see the others well enough.

cool! THANKS!! I had a hunch it was some sort of dock. We have several different types growing here.
 
Have you tried the Easy Garden Forum? There are some very knowledgeable plant people there. You probably need to take some better pics. Try to get close-ups of the flowers and tops of plants.
I used to go there, but forgot my password and can't get in now. I need to find my way back........

Yeah I used to go there too but haven't been back for the same reasons...i can't log in!!! :barnie
 
AC has been out for about 6 hours now...it's hot...I'm going to take a cold shower and go to bed and kick all the blanket off :/ Maybe I won't wake up melted.
 
FINALLY I got some fish!!! I didn't catch them exactly...but I GOT SOME FISH! This really sweet older gentlemen gave us four as he was leaving the lake. He didn't want to have to clean them ;) I didn't mind a bit :D BIG fish too, a couple of huge ones and a couple of smaller ones. One had to be 5 pounds, maybe 2 and a half dressed out. We had fried catfish for supper :drool
