I just hope she has a better memory than my kids. They don't remember a thing, and things they think they remember, they don't even remember correctly :hu :lol:
 
another funny day with the niece. what a weirdo! We had a singing contest in the truck on the way to haul off the old CH&A unit for scrap. Then she decided she wanted to scream and tickle fight while we waited in line to get unloaded :lol: She's such a cornball. I tried to scrap her, but they would only give me ten bucks, so I told them I could get more for her on the black market that I'd just keep her. I got a somewhat dirty look for that one :P I woke DD this morning, and she wouldn't get up, so I pounced on her and started singing GOOD MORNING TO YOU the way daddy used to do me. She beat me in the face with a pillow and laughed and fought until she rolled us both on the floor :lol: What a nut...takes a crazy person to wake the child up in reasonable time!! Anyway...productive day, $107 for the scrap heap today and tht wasn't even all of it :ep Maybe I'll start doing this for a living :lau I still have the other one to break down as well. It's bigger than the last one, so maybe more $$$ in there :D Trash to treasure! All in all a good day.

Hey, was over at the elderly neighbors just chatting, and on the way back, realized the lightning bugs are out!

Need to figure out a way (taking them veggies or something) to check in on them on a more regular basis....

Well duh buddy, ask them about problems with your garden! The older folks LOVE to help us young whipper snappers learn how they used to do it. It puts a little wind back in their sails and gives them a sense of purpose ;)

Not gardeners, they freely admit that they never did gardening as adults - had enough of it as kids..... next....

I just got back from taking niece home :/ She decided she wanted to go home at bedtime...
