We have a house guest back......
My mind is just blank. I have thought and dwelled on everything so much to know the right thing to do that I am just completely blank. Whatever will be will be. I'm letting go, not that I ever had a grip anyway...but i am letting go even more so, and just gonna sit back and watch what happens.
We worked on the farm for 4 hours today, DD, DH and I, and then came home and house guest arrived. So here we are. DH is talking to him right now. We talked all the way home because I had to go 35 miles away to get him. Whew.......looks like it will be semi permanent, which I thought before, but now it is looking more like a semi permanent situation. So, whatever will be......
I got some great deals at the Dollar Store tonight before I had to go get him I got milk for $1.09!! I grabbed a couple gallons and some cereal for under $2 a box. Coupons rock! Ended up with 6 boxes of cereal, and 2 gallons of milk for $14.
Nothing much more to add...looking forward to continuing work on the farm(new job) because we got a lot done today, which will make next week easier. I actually found a pretty disturbing mistake today though. They have these bins labelled for each type of feed. The chick feed, is actually 16% layer crumble
Those babies are getting too much calcium! So I put them on gamebird feed today. When boss gets back, then we will have to get some chick starter. We lost another bird today too :/ I had to treat another coop with antibiotics. I am thinking of getting some different things started to boost everyone's immunity for the next little while. If I can get some ACV out there then I think it would help. Will do that next week though. Tomorrow is gonna be difficult with church and everyhting going on too. But, I will manage
