It does me no good to try to save money sometimes. DD, after I told her PLAINLY last night there were 4 more pork chops in the oven that she needed to put away....didn't. put. them. away.

This child is almost 16 years old, and do I still have to hang over her shoulder to make sure she does everything I ask her to do(which is very little) APPARENTLY SO :/

This isn't the first time this has happened. But this is the first time I have tried to think of a more creative punishment and I've come up with something that I bet will work, and if it doesn't I am completely giving up To make up for the FOUR pork chops wasted, she gives up her meat portion for dinner for the next four nights. For a meat eater like her, that ought to get it through her thick head. This kid has always been food motivated, so maybe it'll FINALLY sink in.

It really did upset me so bad...I just got a GREAT deal on the whole pork loins by driving out of the way to a different store and she just singlehandedly wiped out a huge chunk of my savings I royally despise waste, especially when it's completely senseless like that.

Anyway......I got three loads of laundry done today, finished up the TOP kitchen cupboards, and those under the sink. Tomorrow, is the upper cabinets and cleaning out the freezers, and I DREAD IT It's too stankin cold to do much of anything else though, so....guess I'll trudge through.

I still need to get dinner made. Fried chicken breasts, mexican bean soup, and fried green tomatoes AND I have to make mayonnaise and ranch dressing as well. So I guess I'm gonna get started on that. Oh, and I still do have one load of laundry to fold and put away.

I feel your pain, sis!

DH did that the other day with ICE CREAM.... I was so upset! My precious goat milk ice cream with heath toffee bits in it and he leaves it out on the counter. Who forgets to put ice cream back in the freezer????

Maybe, at least, your dog(s) can enjoy? And if the dog gets the pork chops - DD could always eat dog food? LOL (shame on me, shame on me, shame on me for saying that!)

ew fem lol! I'm not tryin to kill her!! Just make her brain kick in next time I do get so aggravated at waste, and this one is notorious for not paying attention and not listening.

Goat milk ice cream... I miss my goat milk sometimes!!






On another note..... I can't say why just yet, but I am EXTREMELY ELATED!!!! I just got some jaw dropping good news! I can't say on public forum, but I can PM it to some folks, so if ya just gotta know....you know what to do
